I drove home, let my dogs out, heated up left overs, changed, and the car still hadn't been shown.

Now that it's out I am sorely disappointed. How bland. Aside from the cool headlights the car looks 95% like the last one.

So they try to push each person involved in a project as an artist but in the end we find out A8 is made by bunch of men and women in suites and ties

How predictable!

If we are talkign design it looks like a facelifted last gen both inside and out! One very conservative evolution.

The best thing about it is probably LED ligthning.

IMO that's the problem. Looks like they took an A4 and a current gen A8 and threw them in a blender and this is what came out. A flagship should be an "ultimate statement" and this is hardly surprising or ground breaking for Audi.

"Predictable" is the best word for this, IMO.

Hmm, at first glance it looks like a stretched A4, or the prior gen with new headlights...the current gen looks better at this point. However, they are trying evidently for a glacial evolution, perhaps to maintain a specific look.

this has to be one of the worst car presentations I've seen in a while.

I want my 50 minutes back.

at this point, i'd rather have an A4L
one of the auto websites mentioned they were gonna make a long wheelbase A4. whatever happened to that?
