yup, in terms of generations and their time, e39 was still the best i think. and i have to say, the f10 isn't bad at all

BMW probably gave it more suspension travel for a more comfortable ride and to try to address all the complains about the car bottoming out.

It is funny you guys say this. When I first took delivery of my 07 335 sport, i said to my CA why does my car sit higher than the others that I have seen? He told me once the car is driven for 100 miles, the suspension components will settle in. He was correct as the wheel gap lessened.. The same can be said of my 09 xdrive which now has 1280 miles on it as of today.

Once we see more pics of 5 series in the hands of owners over time, that wheel gap will be nil..

Great early pics. The new nose isn't doing it for me, otherwise the car looks better.

Regarding the ped-friendly nose, seems like Mercedes does a better job with it.

me likey. would like to see it in diff. colors, rims, etc. though.

don't care for the full width opening at the bottom of the front bumper though.

That's exactly what they were aiming for. They say the E60 (Last Gen), which I loved, was too “Bangled”. Btw the F10 car looks gorgeous in beige. Another win for BMW.
