I saw one today in blue and it looked pretty good to me. The only problem is that its hard to distinguish between the 7 series and 5 series now. Especially from the front.

Never did quite understand that b**ching. SMG units, especially with the rather firm-shifting setup that BMW had, can shift a LOT quicker than even the best-trained stick-shift jockey.

SMG is laggy compared to new DSG units. DSG can shift lightning quick but there's something about shifting that I will never get tired of. Actually, that was a lie. Sometime I get sick of it in San Francisco roads, but for the most part, it's pure heaven.

a loaded e60 m5 is already easily at 100k, so the new f10? for sure 100k
the problem with e60 and 6mt is that the car / engine was not designed with 6mt, so it never drives right. but if you look at the e90/92/93, they designed the car with both the dct and 6mt in mind, and just ask most m3/5/6 owners, they will tell you the m3 6mt drives much much better (and they all have the same 6mt)

I also believe with SMG you can deactivate all the electronics but with the manual they won't let you do it. lol...
