I don't currently have a street legal car other than my Chevy 4500 truck. Someone wanted to buy my STI right before the show (before I knew I would be on it), so I sold it. My friend/customer George was so kind as to let me borrow his car.

I think the show is dumb... There is no racing... I mean, why does it matter how fast your car is if I never see anyone actually "hurry"?
I don't understand it.
And that challenge the girls were on where they had to go through this dirt road and move the tires out of the way; that SH|T is just stupid... I mean really? What am I missing here?
I don't understand it.

Team Lexus,
Not what I (or I'm sure you) were hoping for last night but hey, you both made it on the show and made it 1/2 way through the competition. That is certainly something to be very proud of considering 11 of 12 teams will be right beside you before this is all over.
You both did great and hope you'll stick around and share your thoughts on the rest of the episodes. Either way, well done and I hope you had fun on the run.

Knock off some of the ugly personal commentary and name calling folks (posts removed).
Observations are fine as always, just be polite and mature about stating them.

Tracy and Emilie: Just watched the show at lunch on Tivo, sorry to see you get the boot.
Question for you... is it part of each team's contract with Speed TV that you have to get online in auto forums and promote your participation in the show? Speed TV seems to have an 'internet agenda' for creating viewership for a lot of their stuff. Noticed for both seasons of this show, for 'Setup' and others. Seeing this post recently made me think its a planned promotion avenue for them.

We were never encouraged or asked to promote via forums. I just thought the Lexus forum/SC owners might want to catch the show. I know if the car I owned was on a show, I'd want to watch, whether the drivers were forum regulars or not. And I always found it interesting to talk to the cast of previous shows, and get their take on it, and a bit of behind the scenes information. I linked this to Tracy, and she joined up to chat as well. It wasn't anything more than that.
