Man that XJ220 is a crazy, its a car the under delivered while overderlivering. Now I am not an idiot, it was supposed a to be a lot cheaper and it was supposed to be a V it turned out to be a lot of money and it was only a V, but once those turbos started spinning this thing was a rocket!!!

I would also add the De Tomaso Pantera to my list, American V8 and Italian styling, owned by a Brazilian (or Argentinian I forget)

Indeed, the XJ220 has one of the more unfortunate supercar stories among others, but from the time I first learned of its existence, the thing struck me as timeless. There is just something alluring about the cars departure from the prototype, to its incredible numbers, only to then be outdone by the McLaren F1...its sort of tucked away between cars like the former and the F40, but its among the top of my list, regardless. I'll take it.
