Mercedes Debuts "MBRACE" Better than Lexus Enform?
We all know about Lexus enform with Safety connect.
you get :
Enform
Download nav destinations to your vehicle (e-destination)
Concierge can make reservations, answer questions (destination assist)
Safety Connect
Automatic collision notification
Stolen vehicle recovery
Available articles from Lexus magazine on NAV (Lexus Insider)
SOS button
Enhanced Roadside assistance
Pricing is Free for first year, but
2nd year: $265
for 3 years: $504
for 4 years: $743
Now, Mercedes has unveiled their MBrace, which I feel is better than Lexus Enform
features:
Everything that Enform has:
automatic collision notification
SOS/Emergency call button
Roadside assistance connection
Stolen Vehicle recovery assistance
Search and Send: basically e-destination
POI destination download
Route Assistance
Dealer connect
Vehicle information
Mercedes Concierge
Plus also connects to your cell phone through an iPhone or Blackberry App:
Automatic Alarm notification (sends text message or alerts your cell phone when alarm is activated)
Location based traffic
Location based weather
Crisis Alert: Alerts your of weather and traffic conditions on route
Safe ride: helps arrange taxi or transportation services for you
Remote Door unlock from mercedes
Remote Door lock/unlock from your mobile phone
Vehicle finder (to help you remember where you parked)
Annual Fee: $520 with 3 months free for all these things
toned down version: $280 annual fee with 6 months free
I bring this up because someone at MB did their research and knows how important to integrate these features to personal mobility cell phones
Available on ALL Mercedes built after November 2005
