haha to certain extend it's not a good idea to let her choose a car. i made that "mistake" twice, take a guess what cars we ended up getting...

yup, unfortunately....

as for the gx, i have to be honest, seeing it in person doesn't help much. i think the car doesn't look exciting at all (nothing new here). it does spell way too much toyota in it.

and one thing i don't like is how "square" it looks now. one thing i like about the previous gx vs the previous lx is that the gx was more rounded. but the new gx it's so square everywhere, from doors to frame to interior pieces, etc... it's too "hard" and doesn't flow well imho. whereas the new lx is a lot smoother by comparison.

 

Phil (PhilipMSPT), Isaac (eyesack), and Jay (lexussscturbo) racing on IS-F, while Allen (Allen K) video tapes the fact that we all suck at this game...

 

They need a better simulator platform ... And the hold the brakes and going into reverse didn't help Phil or me

one thing i forgot to mention about the show. i was surprised (and disappointed) that not many exotic car companies were there. ferrari (maserati) and lambo were both absent, that was a bummer...

i have to be honest that i didn't visit a lot of booths, like honda and all domestic manufacturers. wasn't really interested at all. acura booth was totally meh, all those grilles were staring at me and we didn't even want to walk in. on the other hand, hundai's booth looks more upscale and much nicer. they actually had the equus there but it was sort of hidden at the corner (no idea why)
