Black is the standard low-key color in China. Black A4s and A6s are everywhere.

White is the standard color for cars in Korea.

That's probably from a cultural issue. White clothing has long been a national Korean tradition, like the ubiquitous American cowboy hat and jeans.

If you want pink, go sell Mary Kay cosmetics. They give their employees pink Cadillacs (and other GM cars) for meeting sales quotas.

Silver, I refuse to own a plain silver car, common as dirt in my view.

Uhhhh, the pink Cadoo sure stands out.

I've seen quite a few of these pink caddies around. I also seen ES in pretty much the same shade of pink, I asked my wife if she wants one, she gave me a dirty look.

I feel the same way. Its seems kind of dull and doesn't shine up very well when polished. Dark and/or deeper colors look the best imho

My Zaino'd tungsten pearl shines very nicely even in the shade.

(Body side moldings are now off my car.)

Yes, lighter colors can shine, up to an extent, depending on the quality of the top-level clearcoat paint layer, but, in general, just don't have the gloss of darker colors.

Incedentially, one of the most beautiful colors, IMO, the Pearl Oyster White, has the LEAST shine. Its gloss level, because of the particles mixed in with the white pigment for the pearl effect, is very low, but the resulting texture is gorgeous. That's why it is popular on luxury cars.

(Can you guess the color of my car?)

I disagree with your comment about a silver SUV (can you guess the color and kind of car I have ?) But I'm with you on the last part.

Silver is the most boring color. It might as well be beige.

The car looks great but I challenge you to match the shine of the pictures shown.

Mike, the tungsten pearl and the wife's RX darker's silver metallic really pops in the sun when polished.Dark colors do have a better shine.
I agree on starfire pearl. My favorite color but no black interior available on an ES other than with the Ultra package.

Thanks.Awesome is a great word for your shine.Dark colors like yours look great shined up but I don't have the patience anymore after having two black vehicles.
I've been using Zaino for over 10 years.
When I bought the car,I negotiated the install of body side moldings that are in the pic but didn't like the look and just took them off.
