Well what STIG says is maybe how the general public felt and still feels as sales have always languished. I think it is part of the problem. In America people much rather a fancy Toyota than a fancy VW. Being associated with VW is NOT a positive here, VW here is really for a select hardcore group.
VW hopes to change that in the future and we have seen Audi says grow but they still are rarely mentioned.
Audi has been my 2nd fav luxury brand for sometime, even with their new era of doucheness in commercials and owner douchness. It appealed to me for being understated luxury, not some LED, big grill, bling bling, wanna be BMWs...
So my feelings are changing....

I disagree, Audi is a bargain when compare to BMW. I was comparing the A6 3.0 supercharged with the BMW 535xi. By the time I add up all the options that BMW has to try to match the Audi, the 535 was well over $10000 more than the A6.

Personally I really don't care about what kind of company you are because from where I am coming from...
1. Your A4 is overpriced comparing to the similar-equipped competitors
2. Your S4, although is very good looking, is overpriced comparing to 335i
3. Your cars all look the same
4. Your cars' interiors all look the same
5. Your flagship looks like a stretched entry-level sedan
6. Your "redesigned" flagship looks just like the previous generation except with the new LED lighting
7. Your interior is no longer class leading, others have caught up
8. Quattro is the only got going for you
