I read once somewhere that the difference is such:

Ferrari gives you style, acceleration, and handling, but at top-end, they will design the car just so it creates enough downforce to stay in control without regard to top speed.

Lamborghini says "to hell with it," and makes the thing go 200+ mph.

I would go with Lamborghini, who kicked off the term exotic car with the mid engine Miura. Also I was in south beach Miami recently, I saw seven Ferrari's, and only two Lamborghini's. So based on being rarer, Lamborghini is more exotic.

The Lamborghini Countach was the car that got me into cars. I will always have a special place in my heart for the Countach and Lamborghini for that matter.

i sat on Murci in a heathrow airport in london few years back. i don't know why, but they were displaying lambos in the airport. just sitting on it was better than sex.

that's probably the greatest 'exotic car' moment of my life. lol

+1, If i were to choose between the two i'd choose ferrari. They are more exotic in my area imo... I see lambos everywhere.
