but if you go to 4:20, ull see the HSV breaking down
haha
im guessing honda is taking a page from what lexus did with the LFA
doing some races to test out durability and driving experience before finalizing the production design
If it actually had something to do with the production car, that would actually be justifiable. These cars are now based on CF tubs, with full race engines. Very little to do with an actual production car if they were ever to build them.

Quite frankly the hsv should not race. The regulations say they have to be production cars. Somehow Honda gets a lame pass.
Sell the car. Period.
I agree. Unfortunately the regulations say "production ready" and not "production based".
I figure if they win the GT500 cup sometime over the next 2-3 yrs, they will milk it for all it's worth and build this thing.
Anyone else notice how awful the GT-R sounds in comparison to the SCs and the HSVs?
The GT500 GT-R, or the FIA GT1 GT-R? The white one is the GT1 car.
All the GT500 cars have a different note. The HSV is the highest pitch and IMO sounds the best. The SC is a nice mix of baritone and high pitched, while the GT-R is the deepest, which makes me wonder if the have the new 3.4 spec engine or if they are still getting by on the 4.5 (word is nismo had to take budget cuts).
