Mercedes C-Class Coupe (unvealed)

Here is a shot of the actual car undergoing testing in 2007, in preparation for the new 2008 model. Yet this car never debuted in the last three years, so not sure what's going on. Either way, it looks more like a hatch rather than coupe and a rehash of the last C hatch. Hope this isn't it, as I think it will fail just as bad as the last one.

No. What you are talking about is the C230 Kompressor....a completely different car. The C230 was more or less like a grown-up Honda CRX. It WAS sold here in the American market for a few years....I went and checked one out for a friend of mine considering a possible purchase.
The regular C-Class coupe, a non-hatchback, was somewhat larger.

We'll just have to disagree like gentlemen on that one. I consider the original C70 (not the later ones) a great-looking car......especially compared to the motorized shoe-boxes it replaced. Much of the auto press, at the time, agreed.

For sure it was reasonably attractive at the time C70, but it sure looks dated today. Volvo styling certainly wasn't great after that.

All those Escalade SUV-like boxy/squarish/angular lines on Cadillac cars look questionable and work poorly in the wind tunnel too. I was never a fan of taking the 'Slade SUV/truck styling into the cars.
