Looks great, FAR better than the awkward 458. I really like it !
Just for the sake of being fair:
Yet some people were constantly complaining about the LFA's weight .
Considering all the lightweight measures they took with this car, and considering the basic, very spartan interior, that is STILL rather heavy.
A base LFA weighs several hundred pounds less.
Also those rims look a lot like the LFA's rims .
Just for the sake of being fair:
Ferrari engineers also focused on weight reduction, dropping the GT car's curb weight to 3,538 lbs.

Wow... thanks for the awesome pics, Mike. That Ferrari looks absolutely gorgeous.
I find the instrument gauges look kinda funny. But I guess that must be the 599xx's style.
And you TRDFantasy, Ferrari 458 Italia is not awkward. It's your eye ***** that have issues.. he he
The 599 isn't exactly known for having the lightest weight, for lightweight stuff you need to seek cars like Lamborghini LP570 superleggera or something in that class.
Oh and I respect the LF-A in every way. It's a Japanese exotic car and deserves every credit... but let's keep on topic, this is a Ferrari thread... EH EH EH EH EH...

The headlights are stretched too far, and the shape of the greenhouse looks more like a canopy/cockpit that belongs on an airplane. The greenhouse looks awkward to me too.
I guess it's not a big deal since it's Ferrari so this gets a free pass right?
Meanwhile when mass market automakers release a car with very stretched headlights, internet enthusiasts criticize it.
Sorry, but the 458 does not get a free pass from me. It looks awkward, and my opinion is my opinion.
To me, the 430 remains better-looking than the 458.

Build your own Ferrari 599 GTO
http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/09/b...rrari-599-gto/
http://www.ferrari.com/English/GT_Sp...es/599GTO.aspx
What do you get when you start with a 599 GTB Fiorano, lose 430 pounds, add 49 horsepower and import street-legal tech from the track-only 599XX? The sum of those many marvelous parts is the 599 GTO, the fastest road-going Ferrari in the automaker's legendary history.
The folks in Maranello unleashed it's king Horse to the public earlier this week before its official unveiling next month at the Beijing Motor Show, with the promise to build precisely 599 examples carrying the venerable GTO designation. The good news is Ferrari created a vehicle configurator that lets you customize your 599 GTO to your heart's content. The bad news: at an estimated $460,000, most of us couldn't afford it.
But still, it's fun to dream, and with the hundreds of available combinations you'll have plenty of time to play. Hues for the 50s and 60s are available, along with metallic finishes, and you can choose your own seat type (racing buckets come in small, medium and large), steering wheel type, a host of available carbon fiber accents, over a dozen different interior stitching options and plenty more. Check it out and start saving your pennies for the launch later this year.
