well they were sellinga C230 Kompressor.... it was a 2.3 litre engine then one year they decided to drop the 1.8 litre supercharged engine. It was still called the C230 despite the fact it was a C180 in Europe.

or the last gen C-Class and the C240 but this time, it has a 2.6 litre engine.

BMW isn't innocent either. The 325i uses the 3.0 litre non-turbo version of the same engine that powers the 335i if I'm not mistaken.
