Anyone have anything to say about these? My brother is going to buy one tomorrow, and from what I can find they seem to be decent cars. The 370HP sounds impressive to me. Anything he should watch out for? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like he is looking at the previous body style awesome cars, fastest 4door in the world in 1999.

I would only buy the 2002 or 2003 the Nikosil coating on the cylinders is better than the 1998-2001

while the engine is running pull the hose off the PCV valve at the valve cover & remove oil cap to check for blowby smoke

Try to find out if the timing chain tensioners have been replaced. The stock parts can break and junk your entire engine.

Be weary of the Jaguars, they tend to fall apart.

"the Jaguar XF, for instance, can expect to be at the mechanic shop much more frequently than owners of, say, the Infiniti M35. They'll pay more than $1,000 each on repair over five years' time."
