C300 vs G37 sedan vs ES350

You're definitely right. The reason why I chose these cars is because I need a car thats 40k and below so I ruled out C350 and 335i. I also DID NOT want to get another IS or even another lexus sedan for that matter. I mean for some reason, lexus sedans just don't feel "right." I just recently drove my friend's 2007 Audi A4 2.0t and that car felt much better to drive than my IS. the steering felt connected, acceleration felt noticeably quicker and the interior was much more spacious. It was THESE QUALITIES i wanted in my next car, and after some research narrowed it down to these 3 cars. Honestly speaking, the ES is there just as a back up lol

On no I didn't take it that way at all I totally agree whole heartedly. Heck at one time I had this mentality too when I first got into Lexus'. I had a friend who had an Avalon when I had a second gen LS and even though the Avalon shared some spirit of the LS there was just no way on earth I would settle for it. At the time it was simply because my car had the fancy L in the grill and it impressed my colleagues but as I grew in my love of cars and NOTE: maturity, I begain to appreciate quality more-so, badges have become more or less invisible to me. Hopefully one day the OP will discern and or learn/appreciate to be driven by the true and wonderful qualities of a car and if able, purchase not the image behind a badge but the car itself. Hence becoming a true car enthusiast.

Get the A4 or the G37. You don't seem to be interested in the ES, IS, or even C class. If you want the best driving sedan in the class, just get a BMW 328i.

Out of that list, I'd cross out the C class all together. To be honest, I don't have any experience with the new C class, but my brother owned the previous gen C320, and it was awful. It doesn't work as a sedan at all. It could be a nice coupe if it had longer door and more space up front, but as a sedan its too tiny. I could never get comfortable inside, the armrest on the door was too short, space in front was barely adequate, and back seat was violently small.
If choosing between G37 and ES350, I think the G37 is much superior in pretty much every way, but you said you are concerned Infiniti's lack of prestige. In that case, you might as well go and test drive the ES. I know its the internet, and according to the internet ES350 is FWD, boring, slow, geezer car, and so on, however you might very well find it pretty damn fun. Its got a powerful and refined engine that will make you smile when you mash the throttle, it's FWD drivetrain makes it easier for an average drive to control, its suspension is soft but rather sophisticated, so it handles nicely, and then its interior is easily the best in class.
With all of that being said, don't make up you mind based on other's suggestions. Go out and test drive all three of these cars, and decide what is right for you.

I think the C300 is your car.
1. The brand "Infiniti" does nothing for him
2. He wants something different this time and doesn't want a Lexus
3. The A4 styling does not appeal to him
One of the main priorities is "image/prestige" and unless you like in Bizarro world, saying Mercedes-Benz says a lot. People don't say "oh I have a C-class", they say "I have a Benz". Only haters would say "oh its just a baby benz", most say "that person has a Mercedes". (I am fully aware of the tards and douches that try to leverage their C-class as some holy car and better than anything just because it is a "Mercedes". I don't feel the O.P is one of these people)
I COMMEND the O.P for being honest here. Far too many times people act like they don't care about badges (yet we all drive luxury brands) and "diss" people who do value image/prestige. If people truly didn't care as much as they act, they also wouldn't care what Zip Code they live in, they would buy clothes only from Wal-Mart and drink faucet water and not "Dasani".
I say go with the C 300 (sport).
