a while ago there was a video of the nsx-r vs gallardo and mur (and some other cars). nsx lead all the way till the very end (lambo just couldn't get ahead), but i think 1/2 lap before finish line it overheated (or brakes failed i forgot) and lambo pulled ahead

not trying to ding on nsx or the gtr, they are great cars. but a loss is a loss i guess. personally i am surprised how come the gtr overheat in such a short period of time

Great video, thanks for posting. The only thing is there should of been a Porsche, turbo, GT3 or GT2 in the race.

great video . Thanks for sharing that. The GTR is hardcore. I couldn't believe how easily it passed the R8 and was glued to the Lamborghini. What really impressed me is that how the GTR passed the entire field minus the Lamborghini inside 2 laps. Amazing!!

the V10 broke down from the start, and the GTR is a beast !!! but that lambo is on a whole other plain

Based on the public perception, if you ask the general public if they can have any one of those super cars, which one would they pick, it would go something like this : Lambo, Audi R8 and some will say, what is a Nissan GTR?

Bah! This is a track race. All public perception and price of ownership jazz gets left at the door. The stuff you're talking about is for people more concerned with toodling up to the valet and giving him the keys. This is about pure performance.

In that case, the Subrau WRX is in the same league as the Lexus IS-F

There is more to a car than HP and speed and track performance. I get a kick out of it everytime when a kid pulls up next to me in a WRX and want to race me. Its a no win situation for me if I race him. If I win, I beat a Subrau, big freaken deal. IF I lose, than its even worst
