Wow, I'm impressed Mazda had the ***** to put those wavy lines into production. That said, I'm surprised the first car they used it on is their probably most boring car (a minivan!) and that they are used far less successfully than any of the concepts.
I just don't get Mazda. They have a very out there design language and decide to introduce it on a microvan. Don't you think the order in which design elements from a company should start from the top down?
I give Mazda credit for being different, but I'm still not liking the direction their cars are heading.
Not sure if I like the Mazda3-esque front design but I like the fact that they added the waves to the bodyside. Makes for a more interesting look than a boring slab sided design.
