Lorinser E-Class Coupe C207 styling kit
German Mercedes tuners Lorinser have released details and a new set of images for the E-Class coupe. The aero kit is a bit different than what the company had indicated back in April with initial design sketches.
Amongst the changes are a new grille with one slit, instead of two, and a monocolor lower front bumper. Side sills have been changed, along with rounder side mirrors. An unexpected spoiler now hangs over the rear window. At the same time, a rear bumper has a section in it that is now squared, not rounded, incorporating quad tailpipes and the rear diffuser.
Also included in the package is a set of LED daytime runners, and 20-inch one-piece alloy wheels. New suspension springs lower the car by 30-mm, but they are adjustable. Inside, aluminum pedals and leather-lined floor mats can be found.
Lorinser is also working on re-tuning the engine, but the performance upgrade is not yet available. However, if the 330 km/h (205 mph) speedo is any indicator, the car could be capable of great things.
The Lorinser Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe aero kit will be available soon.

The Lorinser refining program for the Mercedes E-Coupé
Dynamic design and innovative technology
Sportservice Lorinser is one of the top addresses for the exclusive refinement of Mercedes automobiles. The company located in Waiblingen in Southern Germany once again confirms this with the new Mercedes E-Coupé (Model C207). An entire tuning program is available and renders the two-door car an even more dynamic and significantly more individual mark.
Sporty elegance is the hallmark of the Lorinser aerodynamics set: The stylishly adjusted components of the front bumper with the integrated LED daytime running lights and the new radiator grill form the front of the Lorinser E-Coupé into a dynamic center of attention. Moreover, the roof- and rear lip and the rear bumper add-on part in diffuser look harmonise congenially. The dynamic appearance is perfected by the new side skirts. The earthy and impressive sound stems from the Lorinser sports exhaust system. The stainless steel rear muffler with its edged dual tailpipes perfectly integrates into the newly designed rear section. But Lorinser does not only focus on a powerful sound. Optimised engine control units for performance increase are currently in preparation.
The light-alloy wheels program is impressive in terms of its dimension and selection. No matter if you are looking for something dynamic, luxurious or noble - Lorinser offers varying wheel designs and sizes. The latest development is the one-piece 20-inch light-alloy wheel RS9. The light-alloy wheels are especially emphasised by progressively winded suspension springs which lower the E-Class Coupés´ center of gravity by 30 millimetres at the front and rear axle. For models with serial Airmatic, Lorinser developed a set for manual lowering.
Following the style of the traditional brand Mercedes which puts large emphasis on comfort, elegance, but also sportiness in the interior, Sportservice Lorinser offers unobtrusive interior applications. Aluminium pedals and an instrument cluster with a scaling of up to 330 km/h accentuate the car in a dynamic way. Another elegant touch is rendered by the floor mat set with leather lining and embroidered Lorinser emblem as well as the illuminated door sills.

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe is arguably quite the looker when it leaves its German factory. Notable tuner Lorinser doesn't exactly agree. Today, the purveyor of aftermarket goodies for the entire Mercedes-Benz lineup released its latest program for the two-door E-Class that's said to give the ride a "more individual mark".
Starting with the exterior, Lorinser's designers implemented their well known exterior set with a more angular front bumper, vented front fenders, scooped sides, and a rear diffuser. There's also a rear windshield spoiler and trunklid lip for added aesthetics. The one-piece RS9 wheels come in a 20-in. diameter and look best with the available 30-mm. suspension lowering.
Swing open a door and the majority of the cabin remains Mercedes-Benz stock. A keen eye will pick out the Lorinser-branded pedals, sills, mats, and instruments. As for performance, only a reworked ECU and exhaust improve the power delivery, meaning this coupe sports more show than go.

The body kit is actually nice! The front air dams are well designed with the headlights. The repetition of four headlights, four exhaust tips, four air dam openings: all have a fluidity while still being aggressive.
But the grill has to go. It has no complemetative design cues to the body kit. And yes, it looks like the Acura shield/beak.
