Conan O'Brien Unveils The Bugatti Veyron Mouse
Sure, we've seen a plethora of special edition Bugatti Veyrons, but none have been quite as special as the one Conan O'Brien showcased on Wednesday night.
Still reeling from his kerfuffle with NBC and Jay Leno, the soon-to-be-canned Tonight Show host vowed to inundate his remaining air time with gags that "aren't so much funny, as they are crazy expensive." So, it was an opportune time to roll out the show's latest character: a $1.5 million Veyron with mouse ears, whiskers and a tail. Just to further drain NBC's pockets, Conan played the original master recording of Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction" as the French super car's theme song.
"Does it add anything at all to this comedy bit? No it doesn't," O'Brien said, half-jokingly and half-spitefully. "Is it crazy expensive to play on the air, not to mention the rights to re-air this clip on the Internet? Hell yes!"
No word yet on when the Bugatti mouse is expected to hit the market.
