Nah. It ran a 4.5L Version of the 3UZ, Same engine the Supra used after they switched from the 3SGTE.
Last year, they began running a 3.4L Racing V8 (RV8-KG), homologated from Formula Nippon (new regs, the series mandates it, so all GT500 cars will use a 3.4L V8 from this year on).
