I guess I'm alone in liking the differentness of the E60. The F10 just seems so, blandly slotted in to me.
Edit: I can't resist adding how annoying I found auto spys guy that was narrating the walk around. He seriously lacks vocabulary and sentance structure.

And that is why women don't design cars.

^^^ That's a bit harsh...! haha
I have heard from numerous BMW people and mechanics that the E60 was pretty poorly built compared to the E39 so I'm sure it's not too hard to improve upon in that area.
Looks, IMO, are so subjective and individual that it's tough to argue what does and doesn't look good; to each his/her own!

I would hope the F10 is better than E60, of course, thats not really saying much. The E60 is one of the uglist 5 series that I can remember. I look forward to checking out this new 5 series, it almost look like a larger 3 series and the 3 series is one of BMW's better looking sedan. I am even starting to warm up to the new interior

I wonder what the engine of the new M5 will be.
I'm guessing that, as much as the V10 engine is superb, it would have to be replaced & downsized (due to Euro 5 emission regulations already in effect).
I'm guessing twin-turbo V8 engine (brand new). Anyways, as long as it has same or more power than the outgoing model, then it's perfectly fine with me.
P.S.
Since the new 5er is out, then expect that this would form the basis of the next-gen series.
Man an M5 and an M6. Bam, BMW at its fastest

I must say, I was very dissapointed when I was looking at the last gen 5 series. The performance was a bit better than Audi, but it was pretty lacking in every other area.
