$74 million deal saves Saab
#16
I was a SAAB loyalist until i started driving Japan-based cars (Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus). Once GM took over my optimism for a more reliable and affordable car was renewed... While i've heard reliability has improved, the prices seem too far out of reach.
I hope the new company can do their homework and identify a sweet spot for their products. The $40k price point is just too crowded with much more interesting cars. At $30k they might actually have a shot at some renewed interest. Build another 900 SPG with 3 spoke wheels, ground effects, and a higher HP engine and I'll start paying attention... again!
