Boasting about lease deals is childish. You can lease any car including 100k+ automobiles for cheap if you put a huge down. Likely with these $499 leases, you have to put 7k down or more. But who would do that? Seriously..

The current advertised lease on the infinitiusa website are as follows

M37 - $639/month $3480 initial payment. This lease only includes premium package
M56 - $749/month $4030 initial payment.

So these are with cars that dont have many options. Most dealer stock does not include cars with so few options.

I saw a lease for an IS250 for $199/month. But the down was something like 8k. Of course they dont list it. Get with the program buddy! Try posting the fine print and tell me how great these advertised lease prices are

that's why i focused on the 3000 off msrp? on a brand new car in its first month, i am not sure if that's a good idea

Someone that "appears" to know alot of cars should know that you can't get this lease deal without a large downpayment. So it isn't actually a deal is it?

Did you look at the 3K off MSRP? I guess there is some fine print there too right ?

Let me guess, the new Infiniti M is doing awesome sales-wise and doesn't need any lease deals or MSRP discounts right? Give me a break.

Let's compare lease deals apples-to-apples shall we?

On the brand new M37/M56, the lease deals are as follows for 36 months:

M37 - $639/month $3480 initial payment. This lease only includes premium package
M56 - $749/month $4030 initial payment

Now let's look at the lease deals for the dated 5 year old GS in comparison. These lease deals are for 36 months:

GS 350 RWD - $790/month with a roughly $3500 initial payment
GS 460 RWD - $961/month with a roughly $4200 initial payment

So the old, dated GS is still much more expensive to lease than the BRAND NEW Infiniti M.

Fact is, these are amazing deals Infiniti is offering for a brand new midsize luxury sedan that just came out. Frankly, it shows that Infiniti has lowered expectations if they are offering such deals right away.

I hate to think what Infiniti M deals will be 2 or 3 years down the road when the next-gen GS will have debuted, and the new 5 Series will have been on sale for quite a while.

those lease deals on GS seems bit high. my buddy is paying $640 a month for GS350. i think he put down little less than 4 grand.

How about defending their lease deals over and over is childish?

I have a novel idea, how about price the car appropriately?

The car is brand new, Infiniti themselves said it is debuting with low lease rates and even BMW can't touch their lease terms.

Lower the MSRP, why have a high MSRP just to knock thousands off immediately??? The car isn't even a month old. If they priced the car lower than the competition they could ADVERTISE THAT instead of advertising thousands off sticker. That would be a more effective sales tactic.

The value has eroded, its gone and they seem to use the same sales tactics at Eddie's used cars and it leaves a feeling of blah and not luxury.

You are stuck on the lease terms and as shown this brand new car has low rates already. What about the MSRP being cut by thousands already?

Price the car appropriately.

I honestly wish this car the best of luck but the pricing and immediate discounts TELL US the car is priced to high.

To be fair, here is a current add for Lexus with legible fine print. Someone can post BMW, Merc, Audi for comparison purposes also.

No one has said Lexus doesn't offer lease rates and that is not the issue here. If you came here to contribute instead of argue and trash Lexus again you would realize that.

Can you post one that has a new month old Lexus with thousands off MSRP being advertised or you just going to ignore that part to fan flames?

Again, this brand new car is being offered with discounts already and they need to adjust the MSRP.

Here lets join in on the fun and post just to fan flames without reading and trying to understand what is being said.

I think the bottom line is if a brand new restyled car is $3K off already AND there are lease "deals"... Infiniti is already realizing they've got a hell of a problem on their hands...

What ever happened to the ground-breaking innovation of the the company that made the "Q"????

^^^Now the ads I posted and Dashocker posted have nothing to do with the thread as some of us were talking about the car in the actual title.

The point isn't solely about their well documented lease rates but rather why does a new car have thousands off MSRP already? That to me says its priced too high and it would have been more effective to price it lower.

However some people just want to defend and argue for the sake of it.

Exactly and thanks for taking the time to read what the message was and making an intelligent response instead of just reacting and trying to stir the pot.

I think it's too early to tell one way or the other with the M. The car has literally been on sale for less than 1 month. We have one, maybe two, ads from Infiniti dealers with this "deal" so is this a corporate rate or one only from this particular dealer who may be competing with other dealers in the area. That said, we're still in a slow economy and even cars in this range need to be made attractive to buyers so perhaps dealers are being aggressive about getting the cars on the street. That does happen with new car intros.

But I think it's way premature to say that this is any proof of failure. When a trend starts to develop then there can be some meaning debate on this.

I also think its too early to call it a failure and again, I hope it does well. My feelings as soon as pricing was released was "Huh" and it remains that way after my test drive. In browsing around that is not the only place offering discounts already.

Another puzzling thing is the ads on TV make no mention of it having 330hp or 420hp. None. All I heard was "it makes more power and uses less fuel" which is a claim EVERYONE makes. They need to be shouting loudly this car has more HP than others in class.

To me they completely botched the launch of this vehicle which showed promise with the picture preview launch last August.

The marketing seems to focus on craftsmanship and luxury which is valid but maybe not what is expected, given the car's performance aspirations. I think it will do well but not take a significant bite out of E-class and 5-Series sales.

I think Infiniti missed the boat on the styling given the promise of the Essence show car. As it is it just seems too compromised. But you've said it before, 1SICKLEX, this is the penalty of basing your luxury car on a JDM product. This car is still sold as a Nissan back home and it has too appeal to the more conservative Japanese customer there. If only Infiniti could be freed of that then maybe the styling could have been more daring.

I dont know where you got those numbers from but here's what I got from typing Lexus Lease Deals on google

LEXUS GS - $559/mo $2999 due at signing 36 months.

Oh and one dealership's ad does not speak for all other Infiniti dealerships. It's their choice whether they want to discount a vehicle from their own inventory
