Great ride! I too am a fan of the X5. It is the sportiest ride of the SUVs / SAVs. Even if it's large, it just looks and drives fast. I wanted one for the wife, but with a handful of kids we really needed a real size 3rd row, so got the MB and love that truck for similar reasons.

Congrats again!

Love the car buddy...I'm a bit biased though, my guy traded in my 07 335i for the 10 x5 4.8. The thing is solid and FUN. Too bad about the gas mileage though. I'll have to do a review sometime, it's THAT great.

...now only if i could convince my guy to lend me his 08 audi s8 for a proper review!

I like the X5, it's a nice ride. However, after averaging 25 to 30 MPG in the RX, I would probably get the X5d if anything.

I'm averaging 14.9. Yikes! It has gotten better from the 13.9-14.3 when I first got it.

Can you share a little more in detail about the ride, whats under the hood, the interior, what options it came with, I know BMW does not put certain things as standard, that most would think come standard

Love the white
No, BMW just puts things base so you can decide what you want to pay for and what you don't want to.

Nice X5, looks great.

I like the X5's alot, especially the white ones. My friend had a X3, but since the gas got so high awhile back, she traded it for a Prius.. Now thats one of the ugliest cars Yota ever put out.. I dont care if it got like 300 MPG, its still ugly!

I did get to see the new GranTurismo up close at BMW the other day.. Its sleek and sexy.

Nice X5, looks great.
Really, the X5 and X6 with all the same options as my fathers FX where 10-20 grand more, X5 3.0 are 60k, a little underpowered for such an expensive vehicle

The 3.0 is rated at 15/21, your 4.8 is rated at 14/19, it's just a heavy vehicle, at least the V8 can back it up with speed

You're talking about the Hybrid RX400H though right? My regular RX was only averaging 18 MPG, and with a low city of 14. That was with the original 3.3L motor too and only 230HP I think.

For one, FX isn't the same manufacturer nor does it come from the same continent. Japanese cars pay different taxes, tariffs, labor rates, etc. than German manufacturers.
