I'll be damned. I'll put some gotdamn **** rug covering my pedals before I can't do that in my car.

click on "Commitment" to watch their newest commercial. I think its one of the best that toyota has produced.

That has not been confirmed. It could likely be the case, but at the same time Akio Toyoda wants to inject more excitement into Toyota and create more fun products.

We'll have to wait and see.

Definitely a great commercial . They are reminding people of the decades of good products they have produced.

They'll probably include a sport mode on certain models which incorporates more liberal coding. Look at the IS-F and its VDIM programming.

That's certainly possible. Most likely it will be a special mode for torque braking or heel-and-toe maneuvers that the vast majority of people will never use. Toyota might even introduce some very sophisticated code that overrides such a "sport mode" in the case of sudden acceleration.

My "smart pedal" GTI heel & toes just fine.

Not like a manual transmission car really needs that feature anyway. I mean SUA in 3-pedaled car can't really end up in any accidents unless you're in a coma.

Definitely put one in the automatics, however.
