Here is my 1988 Legend Coupe. This was one of the first models Acura ever made. They introduced the Legend coupe in 1987. Without the Legend, there would be no RL. The RL is just the continuation of the Legend. The Legend is the model that made Acura. This a classic Acura.
In these pics, it was just detailed. Washing, cleaner wax, tire shine, and interior vacuuming. There are also pics of my new Iggee seat covers which I love.
Note: these pics are a couple weeks old and I now have burl wood trim from the 1990 model. And I am about to get a Jag X-type manual shift ****.
I used:
Meguiars Deep crystal car wash
Mothers California Gold Carnauba Cleaner Wax
Some old Meguiars tire shine from the 90's
Enjoy the pics.

Nice car. It looks perfect. Obviously it has been very well taken care of. I remember when this car first hit the market it was a big deal for fans of Japanese cars back in the day and today. I am truly amazed at how mint this particular car is. The manual transmission is just the cherry on top. Keep that car . Dont sell it.

Wow, that looks fantastic. The seat covers look great, if you could make them fit a little better towards the bottom you would have had me fooled!! That car is truley legendary. Too bad the new ones arent class leading :-(

Well, you know I'm a huge fan of the Acura Legend.
Best Japanese Coupe to come out during those late 80s early 90s years. I do miss my 6-Speed LS every now and then.
On a side note, I believe the paint holds up pretty well on the early Acura's because it was an 8 coat total paint job. Not sure about the 1st gens though, but I do know on my spec sheet on my G2 Legend it showed 4 coat base and 4 coat clear.
