Maybe b/c Lexus front ends in most cases are sporty enough and could be mistaken for coupes from the front. Only the LS sport has this tacked on body kit. If owners want other body kits there are PLENTY available.

But it's not just women. If all the male buyers/drivers of RX's and CRV's stopped buying these vehicles, they would no longer be at the top of the charts.

As SPWOLF correctly mentioned, this Euro released RAV4 is based on the *shortened* version of the JDM Vanguard (which is why it looks much stockier), complete with projector beam headlights which the USDM doesn't have.
One bit of additonal news reported by Edmunds, is that this freshened version supposedly is coming to NA as well:
No idea of this means if it is specific to Canadian models only or if the US will also get this. Note that the RAV4 was just freshened for 2009 as MMY makeover, so it stands that 2011/2012 will introduce a new generation for the RAV4.

The freshened RAV4 gets a new front-end design and an upgraded interior. Toyota said a companion model for North America, built in Canada, will arrive later this year for model year 2011.

It looks like that version will be built again in Canada for all of North America. I like the looks of the refreshed model, especially without the rear tire on the rear door.

I didn't know that, thanks. What I'd actually love to have is a Lexus version of the RAV4. I love the Lexus service department.
