Rav4 is getting major facelift that is coming to European dealers in May.

Prices for Europe will be up substantially, so kind of expect facelifted interior as well (i would guess significantly).

p.s. what i saw so far is addition of half-leather half alcantra seats, and apperantly no changes to powertrain as it was all updated last year (so not sure about the info from autoexpress).

 

(keep in mind they took face of Toyota Vanguard from Japan, which was 7 seat Rav4 from Japan)

 

it looks too bulky as a rav 4. given the previous generation rav 4's were much smaller as a midsize SUV, this one looks more to be shaping like a highlander. its great that toyota wants to accomodate more room for its passengers, but this thing looks almost as big as the highlander already. but the design looks sharp!

 

It looks bigger, almost as big as the original Highlander. But I like the conservative looks.

 

it is exactly the same car, just an facelift ;-).

In fact, this is European Rav4, which is 7" smaller than US Rav4 ;-).

 

I don't usually play the "looks like" game but the first thing I thought of was VW Tiguan.

 

Toyota Vanguard was released between 6 and 12 months before Tiguan ;-)

 

it does look bigger, but i'm liking this new facelift.

it looks like a german. i like it alot.

 

Simple elegance. The best looking RAV yet.

 

I'm hoping the NA version will still pack the 3.5 V6
