GM is investigated currently for 1200 complaints about power steering failure on cobalt and ford is investigated on 550k not-fixed vehicles from previous recall (cruise control catching fire), and for 1.5m Ford F-150's self deploying airbags at ignition.
so i would guess one of those two.. even if feet are seemingly dragged there, NTHSA announced these 3 25 days ago. there are also 35+ other investigations we know nothing about, according to NTHSA.

I don't get all this 'Hyundai is growing' comment. Hyundai has already grown to become 4th largest in the world. hyun/kia overtook Ford last year. Hyundai is top 5 seller in China and India. They are huge. They don't just operate here in the U.S.

I also would not rule out a large Lexus recall...it seems the recalls are mostly North America based, but surely something must be going on over in Japan

Look the thread title is pretty simple. Who do YOU think will get the next big recall after Toyota. Saying Toyota or Lexus isn't part of the damn question.
Naming one of the brands on the list is not hating. If you READ THE FIRST POST, you would see those 4 brands were mentioned b/c they were the 4 trying to take advantage of the recalls.
It is not that difficult. Just READ.

Yes, Mike, I agree.........but, if you take the question literally as to who is most likely to have the next recall after this Toyota/Lexus fiasco, I'd still have to by-pass the poll options and say Mercedes and its trouble-plagued electro-hydraulic brake systems. That's just my opinion, that's all.

Note: All the newer recently designed cars from Mercedes do not have SBC brake system.

I doubt GM will have a big recall, simply because the govt owns it now. I think they wouldn't want to make GM look bad, so any major issues would probably be kept out of the spotlight.
