Pretty shocking story, but I can't say I'm all that surprised.
The unfortunate fact is, Lambos, Ferraris, and a few other supercar makers are not known for quality or reliability. Lambos and Ferraris in particular have been known for decades for having poor reliability and some suspect quality.

WOW I am shocked at how badly totaled those cars are and the fact that a driver could walk away from that. Then again if you look at the Ferrari Enzo that split into two on PCH in california and the driver and the passenger walked away
