The car is a true, rare, original. It probably has no equal in the world. All originals are always worth more than restorations. But 4million dollars? For 4 mil, I would think he would have spent at least a few thousand bucks to have some professional photos taken. I mean, that's just disgraceful.

On a side note, I wonder what will happen if you take a reknown car like the E46 M3 and get one with ridiculously low miles and never drive it...literally store it away for 40+ years...I wonder how much a car like that could/would be worth in 2050?

what a waste of a cool car; people have owned it for 30+ years and never driven it. it's a shame. if i had ridiculous money, i'd buy it, rip out the drivetrain and swap in a totally different engine that makes twice as much power, probably a duramax diesel, and make sure all those purists knew about it, just to **** them off. then i'd drive it every day.
