I would be very interested in an estate version of the IS even if it wasn't very popular in the US. Hybrid offerings, particularly more performance-oriented versions, would be well-received I think.

I'm thinking IS 450h Sportcross.
Lexus could do alot with the IS line:
IS 220d (Europe)
IS 250 (Sedan)
IS 350 (Sedan)
IS 250C (Convertible)
IS 350C (Convertible)
IS F (Entry Level Performance)
GS F (Mid Level Performance) Hopefully Lexus builds.
LFA (Top of Line Exotic High Performance)
Lexus could bring in:
IS 250C/350C (Fixed hardtop coupe)
IS 450h (Hybrid)
IS 450h Sportcross
IS 350C h (Hybrid fixed hardtop coupe)

In the course of doing my write-up for my.IS on the Autocar wagon story ( http://my.is/forums/f41/will-we-see-...-wagon-408626/ ), I found this photoshop rendering by a Dutch guy named Theo of what a 2nd-gen IS wagon/SportCross might have looked like:

In the course of doing my write-up for my.IS on the Autocar wagon story ( http://my.is/forums/f41/will-we-see-...-wagon-408626/ ), I found this photoshop rendering by a Dutch guy named Theo of what a 2nd-gen IS wagon/SportCross might have looked like:
They just need to square off the back like a REGULAR wagon/estate and it would look SO much better.

Agreed that it is geared toward Europe, but even then, I think the will still have a diesel IS and an IS F.

Wow at first glance I thought that was an HS wagon
Anyway, aside from the obvious, the IS wagon wouldn't look anything like the Avensis because it'll be RWD (ie short front overhang) and have L-finesse styling elements throughout.
