Well the BMW X6 ActiveHybrid is ~Cdn$100,000 so I expect the Touareg Hybrid to be just under that and the US price of $72k is a good hint.

It says EPA mileage NA in the spec list on the side.

Correct and why not wait until they get some estimates? I think a first drive with some MPG estimates would make more sense then testing a hybrid without them.

Hey how much MPG does that hybrid get?

"Not sure"

Huh?

I have been saying this over and over. That is why I feel most hybrids are pretty pointless and not the answer to anything, especially trying to save money on gas when you have to pay thousands extra for them. Most hybrids are more PC statements for buyers to think they are doing something great for the environment when in fact hybrid battery production is more damaging/polluting to the environment over average non hybrid cars. You end up using more rare natural resources to make hybrids and we will have to deal with disposing of all those dead hybrid batteries.

There are more benefits to a hybrid than just MPG gains. Of course if you hate hybrids you will continue to miss that point.
