At least they're not doing away with the projector Xenons like they did on the new A8. I was at our local unveiling of the A8 and everything was great till I got to the front of the car...LED's by their self don't do well with me. I'm probably the only Audi guy who hates the LED's. I think they did it right on the previous S6 by putting them in the bumper, but this "in the head lights" **** just irritates me. Especially on the B8 A4. I swear if I ever buy a B8, the first thing I'm doing is finding a way to disable them via VagCom.

i love how audi hasnt gotten rid of the shifter. I hate seeing the little circle dial.

The performance of this car is no doubt amazing just like the RS4, but since audi is going full direct injection again, I hope they solve the problem of carbon buildup. I know the RS4 is literally dead because their carbon buildup is so bad

Its a hell of a car. I do hope in the next few years I do find a used one for sale here. Seeing I've seen a few for sale. Probably wont happen seeing only 500 are being made.

This thing a beast though.

The RS6 is an epic vehicle in itself (esp. the Avant version). This PLUS version takes it notches further.

However, I think the current version has stopped its production run months ago (and it's no doubt that the 500 units are all sold out). Still, an extremely epic vehicle indeed.

With the bar set so high, there are really immense expectations of the next-gen RS6 to exceed and surpass the current model. Nevertheless, I do have faith that Audi can and will deliver on this

This isn't an "Audi" problem. Welcome to DI engines, in general. They're ALL going to have it no matter which manufacturer they come from (Audi, Cadillac, BMW, etc.). Fortunately, there are cleaning methods that are very effective (that should be a part of scheduled maintenance for any vehicle with a DI engine) available. Therefore, I would say, that's not even really the issue. The issue is the damn high pressure fuel pumps in these cars and their respective failure rates across the board.
