Default Did a full turbo build in 24 hours.

The build took us about 24 hours with 4-6 hours of sleep.
I'm the one with the Jumpsuit on. My friend Adam, the owner of the car, is the larger guy with a green hooded sweatshirt and later the one that needs a belt.

This turbo build is on (Adam) my friend's Hyundai Tiburon. I sold the turbo off my escort to fund my lexus.

Very impressive.. Anyone who can do turbo builds and engine swaps gets a A in my book..

Great job in a comparably short time.

But that's obviously why some auto manufacturers developed quick, bolt-on turbos and superchargers for their products. One of the best examples is TRD's dealer-ordered, factory-approved, bolt-on supercharger for the Scion tC. The service department can install it, with minimal labor, in just a couple of hours.

There are no bolt on kits for this car. My friend had a guy custom fab all the parts and then we did the rest. We had to cut a major part out from under his headlight as well as the support that holds his hood latch. Then there was a lot of wire relocation since the Exhaust went over the top of the transmission and all the wiring then down to the under side by the firewall.

Here you can see where we had to cut the frame some.
