Looks pretty decent. Certainly better than current bland and cheap looking Accent. Personally I like that toned-down grill of this new Accent against the new Sonata.

Well that's a good thing because the Fiesta looks just as good as the Focus and better than any Hyundai anyway...

Wow, pretty impressive. Looks a bit hefty to be an Accent though.

Man, Hyundai is as serious as it gets.

The article is stating that it's possible that this could indeed be the Elantra.

I'm sure it will be a good, competent small car under the skin (as most recent Hyundai products are), but I'm not impressed with the direction that Hyundai is taking with their latest-generation styling. I didn't like the looks of the new 2011 Sonata, nor do I particularly care for the looks of this car either. The mirror-mounted turn signals are a nice feature, however......unusual in the econobox class.

But I'll withold more comments until I see the car in person....or more detailed pictures.

I strongly disagree, joe. This version of the Accent was anything BUT a turd. Yes, its short wheelbase and small wheels/tires gave it a rather jittery ride compared to the smoother Elantra and Sonata, and it was a little sluggish with the automatic transmission. But.....was competent, reliable, well-built, well-finished, economical, had an attractive interior (in the two-tone version), and extremely well-done controls/gauges. It was an excellent value for the money (with incentives, generally 15K or less, out the door), and was a new car I highly recommended for those without a lot of cash to spend. In fact, I helped a few people, myself, shop for and buy one, and, so far, they have been very pleased.....one of them uses it as a daily, long-distance commuter car and puts some 40K miles a year on it. The new Accent will have its work cut out for it if it wants to live up to the old one.
