Default 86 Acura Legend with 1900 original miles

Ive lurked this forum for quite sometime. You guys understand cars like me. This site is addicting. I know how many of you feel about the new "advanced" Acura. I currently drive a 2006 Acura TL and hate the new styling. I hope this isnt a repost but I found this

1986 Acura Legend with 1900 miles and their asking 25,000!

Is business that bad they have to resort to this type of price gouging. Im sure some little old lady traded this in for 2k tops. In addition, its a base model with cloth.

Check out their site for the discription lol.

Sitting that much may cause a lot of fluid leaks and other issues.

Something just isn't right. It just looks like it's got more than 1.900 miles.

Thing is, this is most likely a one of a kind car which does give it value.

Not $25K though. Someone out there may pay it or close to it though.

I just don't get how a 24 year old car that isn't a specialty or exotic car could go all that time without being driven. This is a normal daily driver appliance.

Pretty nice find.

I bought a Civic EX Coupe brand new in 1993. Never drove it. It stayed covered in the garage and was driven rarely. I paid $13,500 for the car. Sold it 6 years later with less than 7k on it for $11,500. It literally looked, drove, and even smelled brand new.

That's definitely one reason. These are terrible photos and they make the car appear as if it's in terrible shape, to.

Nothing beats seeing the ______ in person rather than in photos.

Isn't that about what it cost in 1986???

I might have to take a ride over there to check it out for myself...

Oh--I see on the website that is the "web" price. I can't imagine what the "walk in and get ripped off" price is.

May I ask what possesses a person to buy a new car and not drive it (respectively)? Particularly a car such as a Civic? Regular cars exist to be appliances to serve the sole purpose of transportation. Not to say that they can't also bring enjoyment, as they do. It's like buying a washer and dryer knowing you're only going to do one load a year.

its just funny how you can get a CPO 07 Acura TL type-s for the same price. I mean its just mind blowing the kind of mind someone would have to buy this, or the dealer for that price. Im sure its gonna sit in the show room till the motor siezes
