Not much different and the interior is plain... But if I got money and need a Van, I would buy one.

If I had the money and needed a van, I would still get something else like a Sienna or Odyssey.

without sliding doors, me personally think it's not not that convenient as other real vans

Or people are going for the ML or GL class. Just kill the R class.

I think the R is cool but there are so many nicer vehicles in its price range. Its no surprise I dont see more of them on the road

i always HATED the headlight and taillight design since introduction. Looks like a nice revision. No car in it's class come close to the driving experience of "R-class". if it did have sliding door, I think it would have been a big plus.
I actually think Lexus can do well in this segment if they wanted too, but probably will take away from some RX buyers... Soccer Mom's love Lexus..

I for one am a fan of this car. It's just too bad that it's under appreciated by many but oh well, I guess nothing much can be done.

Still, I believe that what MB did here was right. They created a premium minivan/MPV/van and they did it well (along with the Viano).

I hope more premium automakers would follow suit (cause ey, not everyone out there wants premium SUVs, now do they?)
