So I assume with all if not most of the selections except Faymester... Your car would be a "Garage Trophy"? I can not fathom driving a Mclaren or Zonda even a few times annually...? And even then... where?
Gimme something I can actually drive and appreciate on a regular.

garage trophy? why, if i have an enzo i'd drive it to a lot of places, i don't have problem driving it to work every day. way more than few times a year
my senior vp he had murc and veyron and i saw him driving those to work on a daily basis
that's part of the reason why i said enzo and not fxx

Well the question was 'to own'. Most exotics can be borrowed if you join one of those clubs and then all the problems that go with them are left up to someone else.
IMO, as much fun a sports cars are, opulance tends to not get old or ware on you.
I also made the assumption that my current lifestyle didn't change and that I don't get to change my mind just for the hell of it.
TX, you picked a Bentley as well ... what were your assumptions?

I don't care that its not street legal and non-production! I want it!
but I could always take an Ariel Atom with 500 hp.
Honestly we all have a list of cars we would love to own.

Probably either a Lexus LS460 AWD or a Lexus LS600H.
(Actually, I could own an LS right now if I wanted to spend the money bad enough, but it's more than I care to spend on a new car)

First and foremost... That I can actually drive it on a regular. And not potentially damage my veneers from all the harsh brutal ride from an all out race/supercar. I love me some Lambo! But if i have to own just "1" high $$$ car.... It MUST be practical enough to go to the grocery store, fast enough to put a Ferrari owner in his place and posh enough to valet out front of the Ritz Carlton.
2010 Porsche 911 turbo with PDK, faster then most everything out there, able to go the racetrack, drive cross country, and can be driven in all types of weather conditions and is not fragile like many exotics.
