More Magazine crap...look at this poll by Autoweek
I've e-mailed them in the past (with responses) on their writing..I just went there to browse and check out this poll.
Now its "Midsize" sedan but there are a lot of compact there.
Then the Audi A4/S4 and BMW 3/M3 and Caddy CTS/CTS-V are separated but not the IS F or C63?
There is a picture of a "Mugen" Accord I think or one with OEM accesories. What about the others?
The Buick Lacrosse is HUGE!
Who the hell wrote this?

Well, Mike......which sedan did you pick?
To be honest, it's a tough choice........there are a LOT of nice mid-sized cars in that poll (though the Kizashi and Lexus IS are probably more compact then mid-size). There is, of course, some junk, too..........like the Avenger. The Mitsubishi "Gallant" is misspelled. And they also didn't get the Sebring label correct .....it's a Chrysler badge, not a Dodge.
Autoweek, BTW, used to print a LOT of my comments........both in Fast-Poll and in the Letters department (I was a regular reader but not a paid subscriber). That was before I joined CL and CAR CHAT, of course.

it is odd that they have both the 3-series and M3, as well as the CTS and CTS V, leaving the IS F and C63 AMG out of the same segment. ford's bar is at 43%? i guess all the commercials with customers saying they traded from the lexus and mercedes to a ford paid off...personally, i dont see the luxury that some claim in the fusion.

This is the stupidest poll I've ever seen. A total and complete mismatch of cars with some cars costing twice as much as others and a poll is suppose to mean something?
LOL at the Ford Fusion results. Looks like the poll made it's way through the Fusion assembly plant first.

I agree, though, that this poll is not set up by price, but by vehicle size.

The Fusion got about 19X the votes of Camry and Accord.
Last time I checked sales numbers, Camry and Accord are killing the competition (even though Fusion is holding its own). The real votes come from people's wallets.
Oh, and if the Lacrosse is there, where's the Taurus or Lacrosse' biggest target, the Lexus ES??
Lacrosse isn't just a full-sizer, it's a big full-sizer.
