I thought the the thread was about the top 10 Douchemobiles, kinda funny. But yes I agree, not worthwhile criteria for cars.
The way I interpreted the article (and the thread topic) was that they were comparing the listed vehicles against many of the typical people who drive them. It's possible that I misinterpreted it, but that's the way I read it.

Yes, I can see where the overlap occurs with douchecars/douchedrivers.

Avenger does not deserve to be on there. That generation of Sebring/Avenger was much more respectable than the junk that carries the same nameplate today.

Surprised Cadillac Escalade isn't on there, same with the Nissan Altima 3.5SE and the previous-gen VW Jetta GLI.

Well, I was generally a sensible driver in my teens and twenties, even when I had the chance to drive muscle cars. I don't like to point fingers, because none of us is perfect (even in my teens, I did one dumb thing), but, unfortunately, I have to agree with you on Mustang drivers....particularly younger males with the GT/Cobra/SVT models. They are not ALL a bunch of morons behind the wheel, but I've (personally) seen enough of them do enough stupid things, often right in front of me on the road, to rate them a clear #1 on the risky-driver list. Of course, that does not take alcohol into account, which can produce a risky driver in ANY car.

Another classic dumb-driver group, though it doesn't get quite as much publicity, are people with 4WD/AWD SUVs that think that they are invincible on snow and ice....this especially seems to be the case with some Jeep drivers, more than with other SUVs. They simply don't stop and think that 4WD/AWD only helps you get moving on snow and ice, and less likely to get stuck in deep snow....it is NOT a magic formula to allow you to drive as fast or corner as aggressively as you want on slick roads, without paying the price. It generally does not help you to stop in shorter distances either. These people make fools of themselves bragging about their vehicles' capability, and then go out on the ice, rear-end other vehicles, or flip themselves over and wind up in the ditch and have to be towed out like everybody else.

I thought the older corvette (C5 and earlier) would qualify also.
The typical stereotype of the middle age, balding, cheesy used-car salesman slimy drivers

Sometimes you have to put a few years behind you, in the job market (and get a few promotions), before you can AFFORD a new Corvette or Porsche. Not everybody is born with a silver spoon in their mouth....or starts out with a high-paying job.
