The interior has never been the problem. Not to mention the S8 will likely be SWB.

The A4 has no imagination to it an looks rather bland unless you get the Sline package or a S4.

I think most here love the past A8 and there was high hopes for the new one but instead of the R8 design team we got the Audi design team from 1980 that keeps their Xmas lights on their house year round.

the tv's i can do without. but the trim looks incredibly luxurious. one of the best ive ever seen in terms of the color and space with technology.

Jokes aside its busy as hell and I dont like it. I don't even want to comment about typical tasteless woodgrain that all German car feed us sans piano black.
Footrests are even more useless than ottoman in LS. It looks like they tried too hard to make back space luxurious place to be.

I actually completely agree with you...this interior looks incredibly over-styled in my opinion.

In terms of colors alone I see:
Black
White
Light tan
Darker Tan
Brown
Silver
Red

...which is a little bit overwhelming in my eyes. The door panels look quite busy as well.

I hate this car, like many have stated, and no amount of hp is going to change that. Who cares about interior when everyone in the class has a nice interior. You buy for style in this segment. While I know some like it, I think it is a fail. The days of making every sedan in your range come in S, M, and L variants is played and auto makers need to wake up. (HELLO AUDI!)

2ft is a huge difference.

Maybach 57 - 231 inches 133.5 wheel base
A8 lWB - 207 inches 122.9 wheel base


only car that is remotely close to Mayback 57 is Equus LWB which is 215 inches, but it has almost the same wheelbase.
