Saturn, along with Lexus and Infiniti, also played a big role in making dealerships more customer-friendly. Saturn, for example, besides its ease-of-sales policies, started the practice (on a brand-wide level) of hand-washing each car that went through service, right around the same time Lexus did.

My sister has a G35 that is being recalled. I told her about it and she says her air bag warning light has been flashing lately. Now she knows why.
She says her G35 has little issues and swears not to buy another Nissan ever. Her driver's side door lock actuator went out and now she has to open and lock her car door with the key. Cost to fix from dealer: $400. Yikes.

Lexus Test Driver
My G35 coupe has had the window motor go out on both sides and the door actuator broken but other than that, I've beaten the crap out of the car for 6 years without issues. LOVE the car and has been more reliable than my poor Lexus 
By the way, I paid $1300 for a factory warranty extension ($0 deductible) for 8 years / 100k miles. Pretty cheap relative to the other luxury marquees.
