Performance cars are back in style and we got two of the hottest for our driving pleasure. First up was the Cadillac CTS-V. This isn’t your daddy’s Caddy. Under the hood is a potent 6.2 liter supercharged engine rated at 556 horsepower. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard, but the optional 6-speed automatic is quicker on a high-torque powerplant (551 foot-pounds) like this. 0-60 mph can be reached in 4 seconds, and top speed is listed somewhere around 170+ mph, although I did not try the latter. But this baby is fast! The gas tank empties fast at 12-18 mpg, but this is the price you pay. Another price is $60, 620 for the car. With racing seats, gas-guzzler tax, suede steering wheel, and wood trim, we hit $68,445.
Want the same performance, but need a truck? This Toyota Tundra with TRD options will do. Under the hood is a supercharger with 8.5 psi of boost bumping horsepower from 385 to 503. This is a factory system with factory warranty, not some aftermarket junk. Cost is $5875 plus labor. And it works! I hit 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. That’s quicker than the V-8 Camaro, and matches the Mustang Shelby GT-500!
This truck also had wide, rubber, racing wheels and racing brakes, all TRD factory parts. So equipped, I took this rig on twisty back roads in northern Arizona, and it handled like a sports car. The ride was comfortable too. Complaints? Well, you need super premium gas, and it sucks to be in a hurry if you use that power. The supercharger has a load whine when operating and the optional exhaust drone gets annoying after a while, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! A fantastic truck by any standard.

I think its lame as hell that the author even tried to compare these vehicles or to even speak about them in the same article.
Very weird article.
