Default BMW 328 goes for $5.5 mil @ auction
Hang on to those 328's.. I wonder how much the BMW 335 of the same era is would fetch?

RM Auctions - which ably assisted in removing £5.6 million from Chris Evans' wallet in 2008 - has hosted its inaugural Sporting Classics of Monaco event in, erm, Monaco, writes Vijay Pattni.

And this is the cover car: the BMW 328 ‘Ironed Trousers’. No, really.

This classic, mint condition modified Beemer has just sold for an undisclosed confidential sum somewhere north of £3.8 million. And is named after a pair of ironed trousers...
