Hi Guys,
I've got a friend who has gone over on her lease miles allowed per year.
Is it possible to renegotiate the lease mileage allowed per year?
Thanks alot guys!

Probably not. I know some leases allow you to pre-purchase at hte beginning and mid points of the lease for cheaper than at turn in.
If he's going to lease a new car of the same make he could possibly negotiate something.

It may be possible, but money will definitely be involved. It will boil down to "pay me now, or pay me later." Like pbm317 said, if he's trading it in and getting another one from the same leasing company, the dealer may negotiate.

If she trades in her car there is no mileage penalty. If she turns the car back into the leasing company she will need to pay the difference or negotiate it into the new deal. What they charge per mile is on her contract.

Not likely, price to buy the car at end of lease is negotiable (even if they tell you now that it's not).
Going over the mileage is not uncommon, you can see the dollar impact in the contract of the excess miles, often about 20-25cents per mile.
