That would be better than a Vespa loaner I guess.

My Local Lexus dealer here always treats me well on my loaners. RX350, ES350, fully loaded etc... and I seem to always get a loaner even for easy maintenance like oil changes.

I have to say its always been very easy for me to get loaners. Never had any rentals or anything like that. Its ES,RX,IS,or HS ( still waiting to get one but at my size the service guys generally assume I will not fit in it)

Here are my personal loaner experience:

Mine: Acura 3.2CL coupe ; Loaner: NONE, just sit and wait or go to Target
Mine: Infiniti G35 sedan ; Loaner: Infiniti FX35
Mine: Lexus RX330 ; Loaner: Enterprise - Ford Windstar
Mine: Lexus IS350 ; Loaner: Enterprise - Toyota Yaris 3 door
Mine: BMW 530i sedan ; Loaner: Enterprise - Dodge Caliber
Mine: BMW 530i sedan ; Loaner: Enterprise - Chevrolet Cobalt sedan

Ever since then, I always brought two cars in and waived the right to have the loaner from Enterprise.

Yeah, BMW to Hyundai is kinda awkward. I would think this day an age, they would at least give out their 1-series as a loaner instead of using another brand of car. I had a 01 Porsche 911 Turbo, and got in return a Toyota Camry, Just don't get it.. At least these places gives you their brand.

Lexus loans you a Lexus
MB loans you MB
Infiniti loans you Infiniti
Acura loans you Acura

The only three times I got a loaner car from the Lexus dealership, I only got an ES330 once. The other times it was just a rented Camry.

My 2004 RX went in for a new head unit and speaker 2 weeks back. Brand new RX350 (loaded) and with a full tank of gas for me..

Plus they have a gym, boardroom, business centre and french patisserie right there in the Lexus dealer. I bought my car used from them, but I know others who hadn't and still got the same service.. oh and they give you chocolates and clean your car inside and out too..

Apparently, BMW dealerships are not alone in this practice.

Service loaner fleet consists of Lexus, Hyundai and Suzuki loaners. Rental vehicle will be provided to customer at no charge, should service fleet not be available. Specific make cannot be reserved. If a specific make requested, it must be approved by a Manager.

Will be going in to MB of Anaheim for some warranty work. I know I'll get a camry. I really don't mind because it's reflected on their service price. Their service price is at least 20% lower than other dealers. Customer service isn't compromised which is a good thing. Give me new sonata because I wanna test drive it!

How about zero lowners for weekend customers.. Visit your local NYC Lexus dealers. The one time I recieved an enterprise rental was in the dead of winter when Rallye was out of 4 wheel drive loaners & I ended up with a stage coach Dodge Journey. Other than that, I've recieved BMW loaners 135,530,x3, 328.
