DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!! That was so cool. The Bugatti Veyron is the ultimate car in terms of straight line performance BUT I have just developed even more respect for the GTR. ( if thats possible) . There is better performance bargain on the market than the Nissan GTR. The white one was ahead ofd the veyron most of the time. The gray one didnt do to bad either, On the first race the Bugatti jumped the line a little early. The white one was just straight up bad ***.
Did anyone notice the flames coming out of the pipes on the GTR

Just to clarify these were not stock GT-Rs. Far from it, in fact.
It's an OK comparison, I guess, but I wanted to see the difference between a stock GT-R and a Veyron (stock).
I mean, you could always build modded civics that go faster than a Veyron for cheap (relatively speaking).

The fact that they are tuned doesnt mean that much when you are comparing a car with a million dollar price tag and 1000 hp to a car with less than half the displacement and half the turbos and less than 10% of the price of the Veyron.
show me a street legal civic that will hit 250 miles an hour. Dont take away the glory from the GTR. Those guys probably dumped less than 20k into the motors of those GTRs and they still kept up with or beat the Veyron. For less than 100k you can run with gods. ( Switzer 800 package goes for $18,490. you can do the 700 package of you want a little less power)
3.8L V6 Twin Turbo VS an 8.0L W16 quad turbo. I think the GTR deserves a little praise. ( but then again I always do)

Yeah these are the switzer p800 GT-Rs (800 whp). These are 10 second GT-Rs (albeit mid to high 10 seconds) with
The first drag race was also terrible - the Veyron jumped the gun by...a lot.

The Switzer 800 package goes for less than 19k. I had more than 16k into my last G35 sedan. Its an amazing performance bargain

Like we didn't know what the outcome of this would be. The Veyron is a jet aircraft on wheels. I just saw the Nat Geo documentary on how it was designed and it literally has aircraft level technology designed into it (the rear wing, I think, costs 80K alone). Everything about this car is about reality warping speed. The GT-R orbits much closer to earth.
