Doing some looking around and I seen an article about the TF110, toyota's abandoned 2010 F1 car, later to be Stefan GP.
Some minor details about the car, a ride height adjustable system (as rumored to be on the Red Bulls) and a radical Double Diffuser that Ferrari has incorporated. Link here- http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2010/05/2...zuki-nakajima/ Pictures below-

As I said in another thread, that looks champagne spraying, trophy hoisting, wreath giving, team saving fast.
How could this car end up never having been raced? Somebody needed to buy this IP. There are 6 cars that are practically moving chicanes, seconds of the pace at the back of the grid. This would have been so much more awesome, even with a cosworth engine hacked into the back.
Bet a buck that some of these details (front wing, diffuser) are gonna turn up on the other cars later this season now that these pics are out.

Funny thing is, Ferrari picked up the guy from Toyota who had say in the design of this diffuser, and he has implemented somewhat of the same design on the Ferrari F10 F1 car.
But there might be some saving grace, rumor has it that ART (whose director or head is Nicolas Todt, son of FIA presedent Jean Todt) is trying to enter F1 next season with help from Toyota, with an updated to 2011 spec version of this car.

As for the rumours, that'd be awesome, but 2011 rule changes are going to take away 50% of the awesomeness this car has. It'd be nice to see it go in and still beat the back markers though. However, I'll temper my enthusiasm and only believe until I see it.

Missing turning vanes and smaller front wing will be the main things that are different. The double diffusers will be gone so back to normal diffusers. I'm sure they'll think of someway to get most of the performance back for next years car. The main thing besides the aero changes will be tires. No more bridgestone. It looks like Pirelli will be the one to take their place. Although I hope it's them and Michellin.
I'm not getting hyped up over the news either. I hope ART will use Toyota help, but my enthusiasm will be greater if its true. I think toyota will get back into F1 soon though. Probably in a few years.
